Residencias A Quemarropa es una residencia artística de formación sin fines lucrativos desarrollada por artistas para artistas. Tiene lugar en Alicante, España, durante el periodo estival en un entorno único a orillas del mediterráneo donde confluyen gentes de muy diversas culturas. A Quemarropa es una residencia artística con carácter experimental, donde se selecciona a diez creadores del territorio nacional e internacional para que convivan y muestren su trabajo en el Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras.
Durante el periodo de la estancia los/las residentes disfrutarán de una convivencia y un programa de visitas de profesionales del mundo del arte y la cultura, talleres, dinámicas, tutorias, charlas, presentaciones… con la idea de mostrar y proponer nuevos modelos de creación, estrategias y propuestas para su propio trabajo.
Fuera de la residencia, A Quemarropa sigue una programación creando actividades y acciones para involucrar a la ciudad y sus habitantes. Talleres, visionados, charlas, exposiciones…
Residencias A Quemarropa es un proyecto independiente que nace con la idea de generar conexiones, intercambios, encuentros y diálogos entre varios agentes participativos (activos) del arte y la cultura.
Desde A Quemarropa apostamos por crear vínculos, por ello trabajamos y confiamos en una convivencia desjerarquizada donde entablar lazos entre los/las invitados y los/las residentes.

Residencias A Quemarropa is a nonprofit artistic residency developed by artists for artists. It takes place in Alicante, Spain, during the summer period in a unique setting by the Mediterranean Sea where people from very diverse cultures come together. A Quemarropa is an experimental art residency, where ten national and international artists are selected to live and show their work at the Las Cigarreras Cultural Center.
During the stay the residents will enjoy a coexistence and a program of visits of professionals from the world of art and culture, workshops, tutorials, talks, presentations … with the aim of showing and proposing new models of creation, strategies and proposals for the residents work.
Along with the residency, A Quemarropa follows a schedule creating activities and actions to involve the city and its inhabitants. Workshops, viewings, talks, exhibitions …
A Quemarropa Residency is an independent project that was born with the idea of generating connections, exchanges, meetings and dialogues between various participatory agents (assets) of art and culture.
From A Quemarropa we bet to create bonds, that’s why we work and trust in a non-hierarchical coexistence in order to establish ties between the guests and the residents.
